The music of Mark 

Singer songwriter Mark Briggs Sr. was born and raised  in Northeast Ohio  the youngest of 8 children.      

Mark started his musical journey at the age of 12

Though the years Mark has been in a number of successful bands playing in front of thousands of people playing fairs and local clubs performing both rock and roll and country. Mark was also in a band that performed a weekly radio show. Mark has worked as a studio musician and produced CDs for himself and other artists. In 2007 Mark and his wife relocated to Florida where he continued making music. Mark has learned to play several instruments. In 2016 mark suffered a medical condition that forced him to retrain his brain and muscles in order to perform again.

Since returning to music Mark was asked to write a song for Saint Augustine’s 450th anniversary. Mark has also gathered local musicians to make a charity CD for cancer research.

Mark has won or has been a finalist in many contests, including a new guitar. Most recently he was a finalist in the world songwriting contest. Mark has several songs on Spotify and other streaming services. Mark’s newest CD will be available in 2023.
